 Tourist
organization of Municipality of Indjija was established on
15th April 2005. Its headquarters are in Indjija, in street
Cara Dusana no.1.With the aim of valorization, preserving, protection and promotion of tourist values on the territory of the Municipality, the Tourist Organization has the following scope of work: • creates tourism developing programs on the territory of the municipality • improvement of general conditions for accommodation and reside of tourist • effects the upgrade of the level of service quality in hotelier facilities • develops information-and promotion material Tourist organization of municipality of Indjija cooperates with tourist organizations of other towns and municipalities in the country and abroad, exhibits on foreign and domestic fairs, as well as on science, expertise, sports and cultural conventions where it promotes tourist potentials of the municipality. Working Plan of the Tourist organization of Indjija for the year 2007 has initiated two large projects with the aim of enriching the tourist offer: • Museum in Stari Slankamen - „Lesland“, that represents the most complete archive of pale-ontological climate changes during the last 850 000 years in Europe. • Strategic plan for tourism development in Indjija, directed toward affirmation of potential tourist products, manifestations and other interesting contents. Tourist organization was recently upgraded with new, modernly equipped premises in the town center. Within the interior of the new office space, info and promotion material and souvenirs will be displayed. With new and improved working conditions even better results are expected in the promotion and improvement of the tourist offer of the municipality.
